Sour Milk

Portraying The Negative
Effects Of Bullying.

Bullying Produces Life-long Negative Effects

According to recent research, one in five children experience some form of bullying. The impact bullying has on children can be enormous, affecting a child’s confidence, self-esteem and their mental health.

Read the research

In our short film “Sour Milk” we show how the effects of childhood bullying are often (if not always) carried forward into adult life.
They often experience low self-esteem, low self-confidence, anxiety and feelings that they need to withdraw from any situation where they might feel judged.

Through this dramatic film, we show the profound psychological effects that childhood bullying can have, not only for the recipient but also the bully, at the time and into the future.

What Problems Can Bullying Cause?

Those that have been bullied as a child often experience low self-esteem, low self-confidence, anxiety and feeling that they need to withdraw from any situation where they might feel judged.

But the effects are not just felt by the bullied. The bully can also take forward a sense of unjustified entitlement and arrogance into their adult life. Often this leaves them feeling isolated and out of touch with the people around them. These type of behaviours can lead to problems in their career and sometimes lead them into substance abuse and other behavioural issues as they fail to reach their self-styled level of importance in the eyes of others.
